You may know that the Walt Disney versions of fairy tales are very far from their darker origins, but you may not be aware of just how upsetting some of these stories are. The earliest known fairy tale dates back over 6,000 years. Many of these stories can be traced throughout various cultures and periods of time, evolving throughout history to reflect the values of society.
There is much to be learned about history through these stories...but they’re also really rock and roll. For this three part series we are joined by Jon Cook of the Fadó Podcast.
