This is Velvet Road in Trumbull, Connecticut. My sister was kind enough to journey here with me to put its haunted reputation to the test. Also known as Dracula Drive. It’s a known hotspot for the paranormal. Visitors have reported seeing figures along the edge of the road as they drive by, and mysterious car trouble that leaves drivers stranded.
There is a strange legend in the area that this street is occupied by a group of escaped hospital patients.
Driving down the road we didn’t see anything unusual but we did have a weird feeling, reminiscent of other strange experiences we’ve had on New England back roads.
