We are deep into the winter months and it has been pretty hard. The nights are long and the days are cold. But look on the bright side, at least you're not freezing to death in the snow because a horrible monster is chasing you (at least I hope thats not happening to you). Horror movies are full of death and violence, that’s part of their charm. We’re all used to watching characters be stabbed, shot, and ripped to shreds without blinking an eye. But every now and then there’s a character death which feels unnecessarily brutal. Some deaths that don’t blend well with the plot or the character and are a different kind of disturbing than the rest of the film.
